• The yard is open at 8:50 for all kindergarten and primary students.

• This is supervised by a staff member on duty. Parents are asked to remain outside the fenced yard. 

• When the bells rings at 9:05 each kindergarten class has their own zone to line up in.

  • • Alligators - Fifth Avenue left of gate along the road

    • Belugas - Lyon Street right of gate

    • Cats - Lyon Street left of gate

    • Elephants - Fifth Avenue gate against the brick wall

• You are welcome to pick your child up between 3:25 pm and 3:35 pm from the same gate as arrival.

• For everyone’s safety, only students and staff will be permitted in the yard.  One of our educators will see you and send your child to you. 

Late Arrivals

• Should your child arrive late (after 9:05), you will go to the front doors, on 5th Ave and buzz the office. 

• You will then send your child in on their own inside the school and the office staff will assist them, provide them with a late slip, and help them join our class.

• If you are going to be late because of an appointment please e-mail all educators and the office at mutchmorps@ocdsb.ca 

Early Pickups

• Should your child need to leave early (before 3:25pm), please email all educators and office administrators with as much advance notice as possible.

• Please buzz the office from the main doors on 5th Ave to let them know you are here.

• We understand situations arise and you may need to pick up your child unexpectedly. Please be mindful that it is challenging for educators to receive last minute emails and have your child ready to go. In this case, a phone call to the office is the best option.
