Grades 11 & 12

Grades 11 & 12 are primarily focused on performance communication, artistic choices, and character development so that students may achieve the best end result possible.

Students perform a solo recital in grade 11, and another at Cadenza in grade 12.

CHOIR

In grades 11 & 12, Vocal students participate in either Senior Treble Choir (soprano & alto voices) or Male Chorus (tenor & bass voices). Ensemble singing is an integral part of life at Canterbury and it instills an incredible sense of community. Students will be placed in the appropriate section of the appropriate ensemble at the beginning of each year.

Senior Treble Choir rehearses each Tuesday morning (7:45-9:00AM) and has a sectional rehearsal each Thursday (11:45AM-12:15PM).

Male Chorus rehearses each Monday morning  (7:45-9:00AM) and has a sectional rehearsal each Wednesday (11:45AM-12:15PM).
