Welcome to ACCESS ART Resources

ACCESS ART Resources is a comprehensive, classroom-ready collection designed to make meaningful visual arts instruction easier to begin, easier to manage, and easier for students to enter at any point. Each module brings together standards-aligned teacher guidance, visual slide decks, artist and art-history connections, discussion prompts, vocabulary, step-by-step projects, checklists, reflections, rubrics, and opportunities to present completed work. From photography, collage, design drawing, architecture, and printmaking to Creative Journeys and Material Studios, teachers can use complete units or select individual resources to fit the needs of their students, schedules, and classrooms.

Created for the diverse and highly mobile learners served by ACCESS, these lessons use clear visual directions, flexible pacing, and many inexpensive or commonly available materials so students can begin quickly, work with growing independence, and reconnect with a lesson even when their educational path has been interrupted. Activities can become short classroom experiences, asynchronous or contract-learning assignments, substitute-ready lessons, portfolio projects, or extended studio investigations. The goal is to remove barriers for both students and educators—providing teachers with dependable, ready-to-use pathways while giving every learner meaningful opportunities to build skills, confidence, connection, and a personal voice through art.
