On the day of the Midway concert, your schedule will be as follows:

  • Gear setup and sound check: 10 am-1 pm
  • Room setup by Con Pro: 1-1:45 pm
  • Doors open at 1:45 pm for 2 pm concert


First-Year Midway Concert

  • Tech Support: Stereo fixed media only
  • By 11/20, you must elect a primary contact for all logistical needs for the concert. This contact will be responsible for coordinating fellow students to assist in hauling and setting up gear in Clonick on the day of your event. Email the name of this contact to aaresty@oberlin.edu by 11/20. You may serve as this contact even if you are not comfortable taking the lead in setting up and troubleshooting gear as you will have plenty of support.
  • If someone is available, you will be assigned a TIMARA TA to assist you in setting up for your event.
  • The primary contact is responsible for coordinating gear teardown and ensuring that all gear is removed from Clonick and returned to the gear depot in a neat and orderly fashion by no later than one hour after the completion of the event.


Second-Year Midway Concert

  • Tech Support: Quad fixed media only
  • By 11/20, you must elect a primary contact for all logistical needs for the concert. This contact will be responsible for coordinating fellow students to assist in hauling and setting up gear in Clonick on the day of your event. Email the name of this contact to aaresty@oberlin.edu by 11/20. You may serve as this contact even if you are not comfortable taking the lead in setting up and troubleshooting gear as it is expected that you will have plenty of support from your peers.

Third-Year Midway Concert

  • Tech Support: If a detailed and combined proposed tech rider for all pieces on the program is provided by 1/15, students may propose any set up they want and we will do our best to accommodate. If the tech rider is not provided by 1/15, the support provided will default to quad fixed media.
  • By 11/20, you must elect a primary contact for all technical needs for the concert. This contact will be responsible for coordinating fellow students to assist in hauling and setting up gear in Clonick on the day of your event. Email the name of this contact to aaresty@oberlin.edu by 11/20. You may serve as this contact even if you are not comfortable taking the lead in setting up and troubleshooting gear as it is expected that you will have plenty of support from your peers.
    • In collaboration with their peers, the primary contact is responsible for submitting the proposed tech rider to aaresty@oberlin.edu by 1/15.
  • You will not be assigned a TIMARA TA to assist you in setting up for your event.
  • The primary contact is responsible for coordinating gear teardown and ensuring that all gear is removed from Clonick and returned to the gear depot in a neat and orderly fashion by no later than one hour after the completion of the event.
