What is CLEAR?
The Center for Learning, Education, And Research (CLEAR) works to promote community and equity in STEM at Oberlin through a number of different resources and programs, including CLEAR Mentors.
What is a CLEAR Mentor?
CLEAR Mentors support STEM classes of all disciplines by providing in-class and out-of-class support. You may have heard other names for CLEAR Mentors, including OWLs, HOOTs, and QUAILs.
What does nominating do?
Nominating someone to become a CLEAR Mentor helps us find people who would be interested in supporting our mission. By nominating someone, they're guaranteed to receive updates from us about the CLEAR application process so that they don’t miss this opportunity.
Who can nominate?
Anyone is allowed to nominate someone to be a CLEAR Mentor!
Who can be a CLEAR Mentor?
Anyone can support a course as a CLEAR Mentor so long as they have already taken the class and there is an upcoming section of that course that has requested a CLEAR Mentor.
