Students will study their GCSE History over two years - commencing at the start of Autumn term Year 10. They will take the OCR A History (Explaining the Modern World) at the end of Year 11 summer term.

Although students will focus on retaining and revising their understanding of the exam specifications over two years, students will guided in doing so by being asked to consider multiple Enquiry questions - as they have been at KS3. As at KS3, over a series of lessons they'll build up towards answering their enquiry questions in an informed and meaningful way.
