Charity Partners
The Oak Hill Consignment Sale is honored to partner with non-profits serving the greater Nashville and Middle Tennessee areas. These partnerships are an important part of our continued efforts to support those in and out of our Oak Hill community who are doing great work on the behalf of children, mothers, families and individuals in need of support and services.
Thanks to our consignors that donate their unsold items, this allows us to help others. Any unsold item that is marked as donate at the end of our sale benefits one of our many charity partners.
Below is a list of some of our charity partners that we worked with after the sale and we are continually looking to add charities for each sale. All of our charities are 5013c and after our charities have a chance to go through and pick out items that they need, we then have ThriftSmart pick up all remaining items. ThriftSmart is a local thrift store located on Nolensville Road and is also a 5013c organization and 100% of their proceeds benefit local nonprofits. In addition, ThriftSmart provides a gift card to their store back to us based on the weight of the items that we donate and we in turn provide this gift card to families that we connect with through First Presbyterian Church.
Current Charity Partners
AGAPE - provides counseling, crisis support, adoption and foster care services, pregnancy-maternity care, emergency domestic violence shelter, and court advocacy assistance.
Stricks Gifts - Since being founded in 2008, they have given away nearly 300,000 pieces of clothing to Nashville’s newborns in need. They deliver to our local Nashville Hospitals and partner with Labor and Delivery social workers and nurses.
UniCycle - provides school clothing to students in need within the Metro Nashville Public School system by collecting gently-used items in schools and distributing them at the school level and through a partnership with the Homeless Education Resource Office.
Our Little Roses - is a shelter that is situated in San Pedro Sula, Honduras. It is a safe place for Honduran girls where they can heal from past scars and dream of a better future. They open their doors to girls born into situations of extreme trauma, including abject poverty, abuse, and abandonment.
Eli's House - is a two-year residential program designed to meet the unique needs of each individual, as well as their children, ages 9 and younger who are survivors or trauma.
Nashville YoungLives - is Young Life's local ministry for adolescent moms. They engage in relationships with pregnant and parenting teens and their babies by entering their world, displaying the unconditional love of Christ, and calling them into their role as women and mothers who have been deeply purposed by God.
Mending Hearts - helps women restore their lives from addiction through a long-term treatment program that offers hope and healing in a supportive community environment.
Foster Family Assistance Network - helps acquire necessary items to assist foster families in their efforts to have successful placements.
Edgehill United Methodist Church - the Moms of Edgehill provide support to single mothers.
Non-Profit Guidelines
How to Become a Charity Partner:
If you are interested in partnering for one of our sales please read through the following guidelines and submit, via email, the required information.
Serve the greater Nashville/Middle Tennessee area
Submit proof of 501(c)(3) status
Provide a brief description of your organization’s mission
Be able to send 1–4 volunteers on the final Saturday of the sale, for in-person pickup between 3:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m.

Important Notes:
You must be pre-approved by our Non-Profit Partner Coordinator to participate in Saturday’s donation pickup.
We will notify approved organizations in advance of the sale.
Approved partners must check in by 2:45 p.m. on Saturday to receive donated items.
Donated items are for direct use by your organization or its clients only—not for resale.
