✅What We Accept

All items must be clean, gently used, and in good working condition. Please check that items are free of stains, rips, missing parts, and excessive wear.

General Guidelines (applies to ALL categories):

• Clothing (Newborn – Junior Size 16): Must be on wire hangers, tags printed on white cardstock, attached with an appropriately sized safety pin.

• Shoes (Newborn – Youth Size 7): Must be clean and odor-free. Secure together with zip ties, string, or ribbon (no boxes or bags). Reinforce tags with packing tape before hole-punching.

• Secure all pieces: Please make sure all parts are securely attached. Whether it’s a dress with a belt, a game with small pieces, or a playset with accessories, everything must stay together. Use safety pins, zip ties, plastic bags, or painter’s tape to keep sets complete. 

• Battery-operated toys/gear: Must include working batteries.

• Assembly: Large baby gear must be fully assembled at drop-off (unless new in box with picture attached).

September Sale — Fall/Winter

Children’s Clothing (Newborn – Junior Size 16)

• Outerwear: Coats (fleece, sherpa, down, insulated), puffer vests

• Clothing: Long-sleeve shirts (casual & dress), sweaters, sweatshirts, sweatpants/joggers, jeans, corduroys, long pants, fall/winter dresses & skirts (wool, corduroy, sweater knit, etc.)

  • Short-sleeve polos/button-ups allowed if fabric & color are fall/winter appropriate

• Sleepwear: Fleece, flannel, long-sleeve pajama sets

• Shoes & Accessories: Snow boots, insulated shoes, knit hats, ear warmers, gloves, mittens, scarves

• Seasonal/Holiday: Halloween costumes, holiday outfits (Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas, Valentine’s Day)

February Sale — Spring/Summer

Children’s Clothing (Newborn – Junior Size 16)

• Outerwear: Lightweight jackets, spring coats

• Clothing: Short sleeves, polos, tanks, sleeveless tops, shorts, capris, lightweight long pants (khaki, cotton, linen), spring/summer dresses & skirts

  • Long sleeves shirts/long pants allowed only if fabric & color are spring/summer appropriate

• Sleepwear: Lightweight cotton or short sets

• Swimwear/Accessories: Swimsuits, rash guards, goggles, flotation vests, puddle jumpers, life jackets (must be hung on hanger)

• Shoes & Accessories: Sandals, flip-flops, water shoes, Natives, sun hats, bucket hats, bonnets (must be hung on hanger)

• Holiday: St. Patrick’s Day, Easter, 4th of July

Items Accepted at BOTH Sales

Children’s Clothing (Newborn – Junior Size 16)

• Accessories: Caps/visors, bow ties, ties, suspenders, belts

• Athletic Wear: Athletic shorts and skirts, moisture-wicking shirts, lightweight/performance hoodies, leotards, gymnastics wear, and licensed team apparel (college or professional)

• Shoes (Newborn – Youth Size 7): Sneakers, rain boots, cowboy boots, dance shoes (ballet, tap, jazz), cleats, Crocs, slippers, dress shoes (seasonally appropriate)

• Outdoor Gear: Rain jackets, ski coats, snow pants

• Monogrammed clothing: Single initials or full names are accepted (e.g., “Ava” or “A”); three-letter monograms are not accepted. 

Shoes (Newborn to Youth Size 7)

• Must be clean, odor-free, and in good condition

• No scuffs, holes, or worn-out soles

• Packaging: No bags or boxes. Secure together with zip ties, ribbon, or strong string

  • For pairs without laces or loops, here are some alternatives that work well:

• Zip-tie through the ankle openings or around a strap/buckle if there is one

• Use a strong rubber band wrapped tightly around both shoes

• Clip them together with a small binder clip 

• Tagging: Reinforce tag with packing tape before hole-punching. Attach tag through the zip tie/string holding shoes together.

Toys & Games

Indoor Toys

• Action figures & superheroes (Marvel, DC, Transformers, etc.)

• Building sets: LEGO, K’NEX, Magna-Tiles, Mega Bloks

  • LEGO Sets: 

    • Must verify that all pieces and instructions are included if the box has been opened

    • If not complete, label as “Misc. LEGO Set” and note that it is not a full set

• Dolls & accessories: Barbie, American Girl, baby dolls, dollhouses, strollers, carriers, furniture

• Educational toys: LeapFrog, VTech, flashcards, learning games

• Games & puzzles: Must include all pieces; boxes securely closed

• Pretend play: Kitchens, tool benches, doctor kits, food sets

• Playsets: Little People, farms, castles, garages, etc.

• Musical toys: Toy pianos and other play musical toys designed for young children. 

• Stuffed animals: Only accepted if new with tags OR battery-operated/interactive

• Train sets & tables (Thomas, Brio, magnetic trains)

• Kids’ play tables & chairs

  • Small, child-sized play tables for activities (crafts, drawing, puzzles, etc.) — including toddler and preschool tables (no desks).

  • Small upright chairs designed for use with play tables, including simple wooden or plastic chairs and styles similar to Pottery Barn Anywhere Chairs (no lounge seating) 

➡️ All toys must be clean, fully functional, and include all required parts. Working batteries required when applicable.

Outdoor Toys

• Bicycles (with/without training wheels)

• Scooters, tricycles, balance bikes

• Ride-on toys (Cozy Coupes, Wiggle Cars, PlasmaCars)

• Push toys & wagons

• Outdoor games & sports sets

• Bike helmets (must meet safety standards)

Baby Items & Gear

Small Baby Items

• Carriers: Wraps, slings, structured (Ergobaby, BabyBjörn) — must be hung on hanger

• Swaddles (velcro, zippered, or convertible) and sleep sacks — must be hung on a hanger

• Changing pads, wipe warmers, bottle racks, diaper caddies, infant tubs, sound machines

• Baby bibs (silicone or waterproof) 

• Infant Floor Seats: (e.g., Bumbo, Upseat, Fisher-Price Sit-Me-Up, Ingenuity Baby Base) — Bumbo-style seats must include the safety strap 

• Travel booster seats

Large Baby Gear

• Activity centers, Exersaucers

• Swings, bouncers

• Baby gates

• Bassinets (traditional, bedside, travel)

• High chairs

• Must have at least 1 full year left before expiration, OR be less than 5 years old from the manufacture date if no expiration is listed

• Consignor tag must state either: “Expires on [MM/YYYY]” or “Manufactured on [MM/YYYY]”

• Sports bags: duffels, equipment bags, backpacks

Books & Media

• Books: Board books, hardcovers, bundled paperbacks (no single paperbacks)

• Media: DVDs (rated G or PG), video games (EC, E, E10+)

❌ Items We Cannot Accept

To maintain the quality and consistency of our sale, the following items will not be accepted. This list is including but not limited to the categories below. If you are unsure about an item, please reach out before drop-off. 

Clothing & Shoes

• Adult clothing (men’s, women’s, maternity)

• Junior-size, adult-labeled clothing: Only items labeled in junior sizing are accepted. Junior sizes up to size 16 are eligible. 

• Adult jewelry, handbags, purses

• Seasonally inappropriate items (e.g., summer clothes at the fall sale)

• Underwear or socks

• Items with 3-letter monograms (e.g., “AMS”)

  • Single initials or names (e.g., “Ava” or “A”) are allowed

• School uniforms or apparel with school-specific logos

  • College & professional sports apparel is accepted

• Clothing/shoes with significant wear (stains, tears, holes, pilling, odors)

• Clothing brought in bags — all clothing must be on wire hangers

• Outdated items that did not sell in previous sales

Children’s Furniture

• Nursery & Bedroom Furniture:
  Cribs or mattresses; changing tables; toddler beds; nightstands, bookshelves, toy bins, or other storage furniture

• Desks & Study Furniture:
  School desks, study desks, or writing desks

• Lounge & Soft Seating:
  Bean bag chairs; gaming chairs; lounge chairs; “hang around”/soft floor seating; recliners; rockers; upholstered lounging furniture; floor cushions

Children’s Musical Instruments:

Violins, keyboards, electric or acoustic guitars, drum sets, and brass or woodwind instruments (such as trumpets, clarinets, or flutes). Musical instruments intended for formal instruction are not accepted. 

Electronics

• TVs, DVD players

• Computers, laptops, tablets

• Video game consoles or related devices

Infant Items

• Bumbo style seats without safety belts

• Car seats/booster seats with less than 1 year left before expiration

• Doorway jumpers

Home & Décor

Room Décor & Accessories
Picture frames; decorative objects; paintings or framed wall art; wall decals; growth charts; clocks; mirrors; shelves; hooks; bookends; photo albums; baskets; laundry hampers; seasonal décor items.

Linens & Soft Goods
All linens including sheets, comforters, crib bumpers, pillows, blankets, towels, curtains, sleeping bags, etc.

Floor & Lighting
Rugs, lamps, nightlights.

Other Non-Furniture Items
Exercise equipment; lawn care equipment; pet items (beds, cages, tanks, feeding supplies, etc.).

Large Items (Space Limitations)
Due to space limitations, we cannot accept oversized items including but not limited to: large play equipment (foosball tables, pinball machines, Pop-A-Shot basketball, air hockey tables, arcade games), playhouses, large climbers or slides, trampolines, bounce houses, large ride-on vehicles, swing sets, or other bulky recreational equipment.

Toys, Books & Media

• Stuffed animals (unless new with tags or battery-operated/interactive)

• Toys that are dirty, broken, missing parts, or missing batteries

• VHS or cassette tapes

• Movies rated PG-13 or higher

• Video games rated T (Teen), M (Mature), or AO (Adults Only)

• Non-children’s books

• Single paperback books (only accepted in bundles)

• Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library books

Please be sure and check that the items you are consigning have not been recalled. Under the new federal law it is illegal to sell children’s toys, clothing or equipment that has been recalled.
