What to expect

You can jump straight into Workshop 3, without having done Workshop 1 - 2!
This is an interactive live Zoom session, led by an experienced facilitator.
The session will include: Scenarios, challenges, hands-on tasks, and reflection time.
The session will cover 5 modules to put the Salesforce CRM into action:
- - Module 1: Object customisation, field dependencies.
  - Module 2: Page layouts, user interface.
  - Module 3: Record types, customised processes.
  - Module 4: Business processes.
  - Module 5: Security, monitoring, MFA
  - Workshop Wrap-Up & Challenge Recap

You will leave the session having explored:

Review Object Manager and Management Settings.
Create Picklist fields (Regions & Suburbs).
Understand Controlling and Dependent picklists.
Definition of User Interface (UI).
Salesforce Classic vs Lightning Experience.
Customising record pages using Classic Page Layouts and Lightning App Builder.
Create Record Types for different profiles (Manager vs Employee).
Assign Page Layouts and control picklist values.
Lead, Sales, and Support processes in Salesforce.
Creating Sales Processes and assigning to Opportunity Record Types.
Using Paths to guide users through key stages.
Queues to distribute work among teams.
Tracking and monitoring tools: Login History, Field History Tracking, Setup Audit Trail.
Debug Logs for automation and flow troubleshooting.
Health Check dashboard.
Multi-factor Authentication (MFA) to secure user identities.

Entry criteria

In order to participate in these workshops you need to:

Be a New Zealand Resident / Citizen, or an Australian Resident / Citizen*
Be 18 years or older**
Be able to confidently use Microsoft Word and Microsoft PowerPoint.

*If you are not a New Zealand or Australian Resident/Citizen, you must have an IELTS General score of 5.5 overall, or equivalent, with no band less than 5.

**We may ask for a copy of your ID.
