Youth Could Win a $100 Gift Card and You have 1 in 50 Chance to WIN!

Youth organizers could win a raffle prize for returning their signed consent forms! Youth are eligible for the raffle whether they select “yes, I do consent” or “no, I do not consent.” They will receive one entry for their signed youth assent/consent form and one entry for signed parent consent form.

The raffle prize is a $100 Gift Card! If you return your signed assent form - whether you choose to participate in the study or not - you’ll be entered in a raffle for one of 5 $100 prizes. If you return a signed parent permission form - whether you’re participating or not - you’ll get a second entry. Your chances of winning are about 1 in 40. You need to return the forms by November 9 to be entered in the raffle.

All forms must be sent in by November 9, 2018.

Benefits-

• This study will help researchers and policy-makers better understand youth organizing as it relates to school school engagement.
• The findings of this study may identify how organizing sites can improve the supports it provides to young people
• Young people will benefit from reflecting on the skills they have learn through organizing
• Students receive monetary compensation for each survey complete and each interview/focus group they participate in

Involvement-

Once signed up:

• All youth will complete a survey this year and once a year for the next two years
• Some youth will participate in annual interviews/focus groups for the next two years
