Serving as PR, Marketing & Digital Design Chair allowed me to give back to a community that shaped my early college experience while growing in my own leadership. Through building systems, delegating responsibilities, and coordinating across committees, I learned how intentional structure can empower creativity and collaboration. This role strengthened my confidence in guiding teams, managing timelines, and designing processes that last beyond my own involvement. It also reinforced my interest in human-centered communication and sustainable organizational design, skills that continue to influence my academic goals and professional aspirations.

Served as an Executive Member for En Lumière Theater Spotlight, a student organization focused on film appreciation through curated screenings and guided discussions.
Key Initiatives & Impact:
Event Execution & Operations – Planned and hosted film screening events, managing logistics end-to-end including RSVP tracking, promotional outreach, snack and catering coordination, and technical setup for screenings.
Content Curation & Engagement – Contributed to selecting films and structuring discussions around storytelling, cinematography, and cultural context to drive meaningful member engagement.
Community Building – Fostered an inclusive, discussion-driven environment where members could share perspectives, analyze themes, and engage in thoughtful dialogue across diverse viewpoints.
Media Literacy Development – Encouraged critical thinking by guiding conversations on narrative structure, directorial intent, and social themes represented in film.
This experience strengthened my ability to execute events with attention to detail while managing multiple moving parts simultaneously. I developed stronger communication and facilitation skills by leading discussions and encouraging participation from members with different perspectives. It also enhanced my ability to think critically and analytically about media, translating abstract themes into structured insights. Overall, the role helped me become more confident in taking initiative, organizing collaborative experiences, and creating environments where ideas can be openly exchanged.

Industry Exposure & Operations – Participated in large-scale fashion environments, including backstage support and runway operations at international events such as Paris Fashion Week, gaining firsthand experience in high-pressure, detail-oriented settings.
Creative Direction & Collaboration – Worked with cross-functional teams on photoshoot concepts, styling, and visual storytelling, contributing to cohesive and high-quality outputs.
This experience strengthened my ability to manage complex, fast-paced environments where execution and attention to detail are critical. Working on photoshoots and live events improved my coordination, adaptability, and communication skills, especially when collaborating with diverse teams and external partners. I also developed stronger confidence in networking and navigating professional settings, learning how to build relationships and represent a brand effectively. Overall, the role deepened my understanding of how creative industries operate at both an artistic and business level, while reinforcing my ability to execute ideas into tangible outcomes.
