Kids Service Volunteer
Spent Sundays volunteering in the Kids Service, working with children from 1st to 5th grade.
Key Initiatives & Impact:
Supervised and guided children through weekly activities, ensuring a safe and supportive environment.
Helped kids navigate their Bibles and worksheets, fostering literacy and comprehension in an engaging way.
This experience deepened my understanding of what it means to serve with empathy and patience. Working with children taught me how to communicate clearly, adapt quickly, and create supportive spaces where every child feels seen. It also reinforced my belief that education and emotional development are essential foundations for future opportunity, values that align closely with my GLASS mission statement. Supporting young students each week strengthened my commitment to community-building and reminded me that meaningful impact often begins with small, consistent acts of care.

Host & Stage Production Team Volunteer
Supported Sunday services across both guest experience and stage operations, ensuring a seamless and welcoming environment from entry to service delivery.
Key Initiatives & Impact:
Prepared service materials (e.g., offering envelopes) and supported pre-service setup to ensure operational readiness.
Welcomed and greeted attendees, helping create a warm, organized, and inclusive front-of-house experience.
Assisted with stage production by coordinating speaker transitions and standing by to distribute microphones, ensuring smooth service flow.
Worked closely with team members across functions to maintain timing, organization, and overall service quality.
This experience strengthened my ability to operate across both customer-facing and operational roles simultaneously. It highlighted how strong execution behind the scenes directly shapes audience experience. Managing both guest interactions and time-sensitive stage support improved my adaptability, attention to detail, and ability to stay composed in dynamic environments.

Served as New Member Educator, mentoring freshmen and sophomores in career development, academic growth, and professional skills.
Key Initiatives & Impact:
Career Preparation – Guided students in job applications, resume building, cold-emailing, and networking to strengthen professional readiness.
Academic Support – Taught time-management strategies and promoted opportunities such as TA positions, VIP teams, GLASS program, and research roles.
Personal Development – Assigned self-reflection exercises and conducted weekly 1-on-1 check-ins to provide tailored mentorship.
Leadership & Organization – Planned workshops and events, managed communication between new and existing members, and introduced anonymous peer evaluations to encourage constructive feedback.
Achievements – Nominated for Most Professional Brother award and authored an interview guidebook for new members.
Discovered a deeper interest in mentorship and career development by connecting current members with alumni networks.
Stepping into the New Member Educator role challenged me to grow as a leader who can guide, motivate, and support others through structure and empathy. Managing workshops, mentoring students, and coordinating between different groups taught me how to lead with clarity, accountability, and consistency. I learned to balance being supportive with setting expectations, and I developed stronger communication, organization, and conflict-management skills. This experience helped me understand the kind of leader I want to be... one who empowers others, builds strong systems, and creates an inclusive environment where people can grow with confidence.
