About ME

hi! My name is Torico.

I am a junior majoring in IMA, and I am a study away student from NYU Shanghai. I love video games! I started watching game videos on YouTube since I was very young, and in high school I got my own gaming laptop. My name also comes from a PS4 game called The Last Guardian.

I don’t want to stop at just making video games on laptop. I hope to work in the field of immersive games, such as VR and XR, and I think I may use motion capture some day, which is why I chose to take this course.

This is my first class using Unreal Engine, but I have previous experience with Blender and Unity.

I love building worlds, especially playing with light and skybox. I think the effects of adding lighting and shadows are always magical, and I can't wait to put myself into those worlds and see for myself.
