Use wool to make an abstract human chest:
We used tape to temporarily fix the wool, and then fixed it with hot melt glue

Put the electronic components on:
Draft of the front and back:
To do list(In Chinese):
🔑Key point
Extend the wire! (Because of the tight time, we chose a hard wire that can be used directly, which makes it easy to fall off and the appearance of the back is not good)
Soldering (we have mastered the trick: melt the solder wire on one end first, then melt the tin again, and insert the other end at the same time
The potentiometer needs to put the wire in the hole, not on the metal sheet)
Drill holes in the black cloth according to the position of the electronic components to pass through
Ex. magnet sensor, small electronic screen, the central heartbeat LED (bypassing the eyes of the 3D printed David statue)...
The step motor is fixed to the iron frame with strong glue
In order to prevent the iPad bracket from falling, we used strong tape to wrap it around the iron frame
The LED strip and wool are fixed together with cable tie to prevent the temperature of the hot melt glue from destroying the light strip
The useless part(too long) of the LED strip is folded up, and then cable Tie fixed
Weave a blood vessel "net bag" for the movable plug
Attach other 3D printed parts with hot melt glue
The base of the gear needs to be fixed, slightly tilted to prevent the gear from falling off, and put a wooden stick between the curtain and the base
How the project look in the back:
How the project look in the front:
Code Changes:
Adjust the number of LEDs that light up according to the position of the 3d printed parts.
Change the parameters of the accelerometer according to the angle of insertion.
Art processing:
Use plush stick to create the effect of blood vessels extending outwards
Process the gear with metal paint (after painting, we found that this would make the gear more likely to get stuck, so we could only use sandpaper and a scissors to grind off a layer of paint...)
we wanted to use a 3d-print white neural frame to surround the air pump to make it eye-catching, but failed because it was too difficult to print
Finally, in order to cover up some messy wires, red wool was fixed on both sides. From the side, there is a "bloody" feeling, which is in line with the overall artistic style.
*In order to prevent damage to the desk, we laser cut a transparent acrylic plate with holes.
And also, make the balloon nicer.
