Here, you will find all-things-orientation for Fall 2022, including your schedule, pre-orientation materials & readings, introduction to your Graduate Orientation Leaders (GOL's) and other Silver community members, and several others resources to support you through the upcoming academic year.

The MSW Student Orientation program is an opportunity for all new MSW students at Rockland, Washington Square, and Westchester to come together and begin their journey at NYU. During orientation students will...

• Learn about NYU Silver School of Social Work values and community expectations

• Make personal connections with fellow new students, graduate orientation leaders, staff, and faculty

• Learn about school and university resources and opportunities related to academic support, wellness, and campus involvement

Part I: Wednesday August 24, 2022 | 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Session topics will include Academic Life, Career & Professional Development, Health & Wellness, and more!

Part II: Thursday August 25, 2022 | 9:00 AM - 4:00 PM
Learn how restorative justice (RJ) practice aligns with the Silver mission and core pillars of accountability, trust, community, and transparency. This session will provide various opportunities for students to unpack and explore the RJ mindset, foster meaningful connection, and more!

Westchester Campus Orientation Date

Friday August 26, 2022 | 9:30 AM - 12:30 PM

Rockland Campus Orientation Date

Friday August 26, 2022 | 1:00 PM - 3:00 PM
