Introduction to applying to and getting into Nursing School and what careers students can choose from in the field of social work!
July 22nd:
Morning: Students will receive an introduction to Nursing School with Amy J. B. Knowles (Assistant Dean, Student Affairs & Admissions) and Fortuna Smith (Assistant Director, Undergraduate Student Affairs & Admissions).
Afternoon: Students will receive an overivew of Social Work field and careers with NYU Silver School of Social Work with Linda Lausell-Bryant (Clinical Associate Professor). Dr. Lausell- Bryant is a favorite of CCL students!

Connected to the Silver School of Social work is The McSilver Institute for Poverty Policy and Research. McSilver Institute is committed to creating new knowledge about the root causes of poverty, developing evidence-based interventions to address its consequences, and rapidly translating research findings into action through policy and practice.
