The Neuroscience Institute will lead students through discussions in psychology and neuroscience. CCL Scholars should pay close attention here as this is an Immersive Stage program for rising 10th and 11th graders that includes sheep brain dissection activities and prepares students to be engaged learners in the sciences throughout high school.
The School of Global Public Health will introduce students to the foundations of global public health issues. The courses will delve into issues of evaluating data and trends in infectious disease epidemiology, and determinants of disease. Students will also get the opportunity to interact with global health professionals representing a wide range of health areas.
Students will hear a presentation discussing pathways into Nursing School and receive an introductory lecture from a social worker and NYU alumni at the Silver School of Social work.
NYU Grossman School of Medicine integrates academic excellence with quality patient care to train tomorrow's leaders and scholars in healthcare. Students will learn about pathways to medical school and careers in medicine from a top doctor in the field.
