Isaac wasn’t feeling well this day, so I decided to do some more testing with motors. I checked out two continuous servos and tried to set up the wheels with them, figuring that being able to control degrees directly can control the result of the wheels.
WELL IT WAS A BIG FAILURE. It turns out that the continuous “servos” are actually just dc motors and you cannot directly control their output. Due to the power supplied to them and internal differences, we were unable to get them working reliably and decided to switch to a different design using 180 servos.
Also drafted up a code to test with the 180s with my newfound knowledge.
