2021/12/21 - Launch of Light-1 CubeSat!!
Light-1 was finally launched to the International Space Station onboard the SpaceX Cargo Dragon.

2021/06 - LIGHT-1 CubeSat Full Assembly Completed!
Started from the bottom, now were here.
After 45 days of hard working, thinking and problem solving, the LIGHT-1 assembling was eventually completed at the Age Scientific Head Quarter (Capezzano Pianore(LU), Italy). The onsite team together with the remote support of the NYUAD team in Abu Dhabi, reached the historical milestone of making the payload ready for the integration in the satellite bus. It was a very long journey with a lot of people involved: a special thanks to Giovanni and Lorenzo, our electronics expert from (AGE), Valerio form Rome3 (the kind of guy that you would like to have around when things get complicated) and Rodrigo, our former research assistant now enrolled at Florence University, the designer of the payload firmware.
2021/05 - The Lightning Sensor is finally installed and operational in the Al Sadeem Observatory!
