Logic is a professional music production software. Logic Pro X is Apple’s professional software suite for songwriting, music production, mixing, editing, and more. Logic can be used to:

• record and track live session vocals and instruments;

• sequence and edit MIDI, use sounds from Logic’s vast sound library;

• produce beats, sample, and arrange instrumental loops;

• and add effects; edit, mix, and master your audio productions.

With Logic Pro, you can record, read, and manipulate these digital music notes, and assign sounds to the notes. Instead of containing audio data, MIDI tracks contain instructions for each note, like when it should be cued and what sound it should trigger, and other parameters like velocity and pitch.
