What is included in my portfolio?
Portfolio Items
Your portfolio is a culmination of your preparation for college applications and your future career with ICCAN. You can work on these items with your Hub Librarian during one-on-one sessions, or on your own. As seen on the Requirements page, your portfolio consists of (but not limited to):
College or post-secondary program list
Resume
Brag Sheet
Cover Letter
Admissions Essay/Personal Statement
Attendance at a financial literacy program at a hub branch (as one of your 30 program credits)
List of recommendation writers
Matriculation and/or summer plan/goals
Attendance at an Opportunity Network program (as one of your 30 program credits)
Attend College or Career Fair or Panel or in person College Tour
Once an item is completed, please send a copy to your Hub Librarian. It will be added to your Requirements Tracker.

Gain college exposure by attending 1 College/Career Fair/Panel or going on college tour
Opportunity Network Program
Financial Literacy Program (This includes budgeting, financial aid, money management, scholarships, etc.)
Attendance (programs and 1:1) totaling 30 programs
10th Grade Students
11th Grade Students
Resume
General cover letter
College Essay Brainstorming or Personal Statement draft
12th Grade Students
Admissions essay/personal statement
College list or list of accredited trade/certificate programs
