Q: How can I keep track of my requirements? It seems like a lot!
A: Your Hub Librarian will do that for you! Meet with your Hub Librarian to discuss the best way for both of you keep track of everything.
Q: What is the deadline to complete all of my requirements?
A: The final deadline to complete all requirements is May 29, 2026. There are additional deadlines before then that you can find here.
Q: How does the Magic Grant work?
A: After completing all of your requirements, your Hub Librarian will submit your portfolio. Once your portfolio is accepted, you will be able to spend between $1,000 and $1,500 (depending on your grade level) on items that will help you achieve your college and/or career goals. More information will be added to the Magic Grant page about the application and deadlines.
Q: How do I access EverFi?
A: To register for EverFi, please go to: everfi.com/register, click Student/Teacher Login and register. Once registered use the code that your Hub Librarian provided you. To receive a certificate, you must complete the entire module. Directions and courses per grade level are included in this document.
Q: What is an Opportunity Network Program?
A: The Opportunity Network (OppNet) is a nation-wide organization that was founded to reduce inequalities in accessing postsecondary opportunities, including those that exist in college readiness and workforce entry. Attending at least 1 (one) OppNet program is a requirement for your portfolio. You can find them listed on the Upcoming Programs/Events page marked with a +.
Q: How do I log into Hats & Ladders?
A: Contact your Hub Librarian for instructions and log-in info for Hats & Ladders. Please look at this selection of recommended topics pertaining to different grade levels.
Q: What if I have a question/issue but am not comfortable discussing it with my Hub Librarian?
A: We understand that situations may arise and you may feel more comfortable discussing it with someone else. You can always reach out to the central CCP team (Megan, Asuncion and Liz) with any questions you may have or to schedule a meeting to discuss anything you need to.
