Deadlines

There are four deadlines to complete credits throughout the year:

Deadline One: Dec 23, 2025 - Full information can be found here.

Deadline Two: February 28, 2026 - Full information can be found here.

Deadline Three: April 24, 2026

• At least 21-24 credits need to be completed

• Portfolio items:

  • 10th grade: 

    • Financial Literacy through NYPL

    • Gain college exposure by attending 1 College/Career Fair/Panel or going on college tour

  • 11th grade:

    • Financial Literacy through NYPL

    • Gain college exposure by attending 1 College/Career Fair/Panel or going on college tour

    • College Essay Brainstorming or Personal Statement draft

  • 12th grade:

    • Financial Literacy through NYPL

    • Gain college exposure by attending 1 College/Career Fair/Panel or going on college tour

    • Interview Preparation Worksheet

• ICCAN Virtual Program Meeting (strongly encouraged) – Wednesday, April 1st from 5-6PM 

  • 10th & 11th Grade: College Essay

  • 12th Grade: Tips for College

Final Deadline: May 29, 2026

• 30 credits need to be completed

• Portfolio items:

  • 10th grade: 

    • College Essay Brainstorming

    • Summer extracurricular plan or goal

    • College Research Worksheet

  • 11th grade:

    • Preliminary college or post-secondary program list

    • Summer extracurricular plan or goal

    • Opportunity Network Program

  • 12th grade:

    • Post-Secondary Plan 

    • Opportunity Network Program

    • Choosing a Career Path Assessment

• Final Celebration: ICCAN & I Did - date TBD in late May/early June
