DAY 2

Today you will assemble your notes into sentence form and revise and edit your paragraph.

TEKS 3a Students plan and employ effective research strategies to locate information and other resources for their intellectual or creative pursuits.

REVISE AND EDIT

Now it is time to take your notes and put them into narrative form. After you have written a draft, and checked for plagiarism, use ARMS to make it make sense and sound good.

Some tips:

  • Don't talk about yourself, since you are not the topic.

  • Avoid boring details. Their siblings' names, or where they were born is less important than their accomplishments.

  • Keep it formal. No U's instead of yous. No emojis. Only one exclamation point.

  • Make sure you have Grammarly installed. Then you just have to revise, because editing is done for you. It won't work in Drawings, though, so check your capitalization, spelling, and grammar before you take your words out of Doc.

TURN IN YOUR NOTES AND DRAFT

Make sure you:

  • have enough notes. 10 -15

  • named your document correctly

  • wrote 3-5 sentences

  • revised and edited your writing.
