Baron

"Baron" is an 8 year old Morgan gelding that came to us through the bail-out pen. He was community bailed and had no home to go to.  "Baron" has a severely neglected front left hoof.  His hooves were not trimmed properly and he was forced to learn to walk with abnormal gait. The toe was too long and heel was too short. Our farrier was able to get a great look at the hoof and trim it in a way to allow for better gait. "Baron" is being trimmed therapeutically to attempt to fix the hoof to be normal again the best as possible. Currently, due to this hoof angle, "Baron" is mildly lame and slowly getting better.

 
"Baron" stands about 15 hands and is a very beautiful red color chestnut. He is nervous with trusting people, but coming around better to learn people are not mean and nasty. "Baron" may in the future be able to be rode and trained up for trail riding. 

"Baron's" adoption fee is currently  $700 and may go up the more riding time we put into him.
