Herbie

"Herbie" is a 35 year old Haflinger Gelding standing about 14.3 hands. He came to our bailout facility in May 2024. "Herbie" is the BIGGEST sweetheart! He loves kids, is the best gentle pony ever!
We have had him evaluated by a veterinarian and they have recommended "Herbie" be not rode at all at this time.

"Herbie" is to be a maintenance beautiful pasture companion only.

"Herbie" is in great body shape for his age, even his teeth were kept up, BUT his left hock is fusing now at this time. The hock is currently an issue for "Herbie" and he should needs to be maintained on gentle ground, mild hills are okay for him. He is otherwise great to handle and amazing with kids! He is bottom of the herd and will not fight for food at all. "Herbie" is maintained on 100x's OsteoMax for the joints and he is doing well on it.

"Herbie" has an adoption fee of $0 at this time and ONLY TO THE BEST HOME FOR HIM! He will have current vaccinations, hooves trimmed, microchipped, dewormed, and teeth floated.
