Competition Team

Do you have interest in becoming part of NWMA Competition Team? If so please check the minimum requirements listed and if you meet them then check in with your Professor for more details.

Minimum requirements to be on the team:

• One stripe on your white belt.
• Training a minimum of two times a week in group class consistently. (Attending Advanced class if you are a color belt)
• Attend open mat to spar at least 1x a week.
• Commitment to cheering on your teammates and helping them improve their game.

-Every existing competitor must check in with a Professor prior to competing in any tournaments. Prior to competing competitors must read rules for each event and have the proper attire and training prior to the event. Any competitor who has unsportsmanlike like behavior will be dropped from the team. Note: Just because your are part of the team doesn't guarantee you a space at all events, some events we compete under our greater team Gracie Humaita linage and there are a limited amount of slots and they will be allocated out at Megatons and our professors discretion.
