Goal 1 Technology will transform teaching and learning.

At NWLSD, all learners (students and staff) will have personalized and authentic learning experiences that inspire them to be active, innovative, collaborative problem solvers, and responsible digital citizens in our globally connected society.

Action Steps

• Phase in students in grade 6-12 taking home devices to allow for more personalized learning both in and out of the classroom.
• Model and provide personalized professional development for teachers.
• Continue to foster the integration of instructional technology as a way to personalize and differentiate student learning.
• Continue to revise and update the Online Safety Lessons for grades K-12.
• Create a progression of Technology Standards for grades K-2, 3-5, 6-8, 9-12 based off of the Ohio Technology Standards and the ISTE Standards for Student.
• Form a district Technology Power Team that will plan and execute professional learning experiences for staff at the building level.
