Keyboarding Level II

Piano Level II course description:

This class is a continuation of Introduction to Piano. Prerequisites for the class are successful completion of Introduction to Piano or a minimum of 2 years private piano instruction, otherwise students should sign up for Introduction to Piano. This course is designed to allow students to work at their own pace. In this course students will continue to build on the fundamentals that were taught in Introduction to Piano. New skills being taught in this course include:

• Intervals of 6ths, 7ths, and Octaves
• Chord progressions in the keys of C major, G major, F major A minor, D minor
• Eighth notes and eighth note triplets
• Arpeggios in the keys of C major, G major, F major A minor, D minor
• Standard piano repertoire for students at this level
