About Mr. Brown

Mr. Brown is a graduate of Wilkes University and has done graduate work at Southern Oregon's American Band College, Temple University, The University of the Arts, and Villanova University. Mr. Brown has studied Trombone performance with Tyrone Breuninger of the Philadelphia Orchestra, Joseph Alessi of the New York Philharmonic, Internationally acclaimed jazz trombonist Urbie Green and conducting with Claude Pichereau of the Paris Conservatory. Mr. Brown is an active adjudicator of marching bands for USBands. Mr. Brown has served as the brass caption head for the 6 time DCA World Champion Bushwackers Drum and Bugle Corps as well as Fusion Drum and Bugle Corps and is often asked to serve as a clinician for bands all over the eastern seaboard. Mr. Brown is an active free lance musician in Eastern Pennsylvania, New Jersey, New York, Connecticut and Maryland performing all styles of music.

When Mr. Brown isn't teaching, performing, or adjudicating he enjoys spending time with his wife and their dogs, cats, alpacas, horses and chickens. He loves golfing, running 5k races, camping, hunting and fishing as well as travelling. Mr. Brown is an avid fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers, Pittsburgh Penguins, and Duke Blue Devils Basketball team.
