About Science

This seventh-grade course focuses on introducing students to the diversity of life found on our planet. We will be concentrating on biology - the study of life and living things.

The course includes an overview of scientific principles and procedures, and leads students toward a clearer understanding including cells, cellular processes, chemistry of life, genetics, classification of living things, human body systems, evolution, and ecology. 

In the classroom we will be learn through vocabulary, team collaboration, laboratory activities, and make real world investigations of the world around you.
