Rubrics for projects will be shared when project is introduced.

District Grading Scale:

A: 93%-100%

B: 86%-92%

C: 77%-85%

D: 70%-76%

F: 69% or lower

NOTES:

Assessments will include tests, projects, quizzes, classwork, homework assignments, and performance assessments.

Providing a balanced assortment of student work samples will be the goal each marking period.

Students may access the Portal to track their grades throughout the marking period.

Assessments are scored and returned to students promptly.  They are reviewed aloud in class to offer an opportunity for students to ask questions about how answers were evaluated.

All scored assessments should be stored in the student’s social studies tab of their binder until the end of a marking period.

Parents are encouraged to regularly access the Portal to stay informed of their child’s progress.
