State Career and Development Conference

The State Career Development Conference (SCDC) is Nevada DECA's state competition for DECA chapters within Nevada and is going to be held in February 2023 at (TBD). Participants are required to be paid DECA members and to be able to stay at the hotel throughout all three days of the conference. If participants place in the top three in their event(s), they can advance to compete at ICDC; if participants place in the top ten, they have the potential to advance to compete at ICDC.

International Career and Development Conference

The International Career Development Conference (ICDC) is DECA's international competition for DECA chapters around the world and is going to be held on (TBD). Unlike at SCDC, only top-placing participants from their state competition or participants in Leadership are allowed to go to ICDC and must be able to stay in Anaheim throughout the whole week of the conference. We recommend all students to try their very best at SCDC to have the opportunity of experiencing ICDC. The location changes on a three year cycle: Anaheim, California; Atlanta, Georgia; Orlando, Florida.
