Desert Trackers is a walk/run student and family activity held right before school, Monday through Friday, from 8:30 am to 8:55 am. Kindergarten through 5th grade, as well as teachers and families, walk/run around our playground following the track. For every lap you run, you punch a card to track your distance. Six laps around the track equals one mile, and students run from 10 to 600 miles! Desert Trackers is a great way to set physical activity goals and never, never, never give up! Students are also encouraged to run during their recess time to help reach their goals! We are always looking for parent volunteers; everyone is welcome!
