Grading Policy

Grading/Class Disputes

Please be advised that if a student has an issue with their grade or in a class, the following steps must take place in the following order:

1. Student will schedule to meet with their teacher to discuss their grade/concern.

2. Parent will contact the teacher to discuss the grade/concern.

3. Parent will schedule a Parent Teacher Conference through their child's counselor to discuss the grade. *Counselors may determine if an administrative supervisor may need to be present/involved.

4. A meeting can be scheduled with the teacher's administrative supervisor.

Schedule changes are not granted when there is a dispute/disagreement/personality conflict. At Centennial High School, our mission is to prepare students for life after graduation. Part of that preparation is learning to navigate through challenging situations. While we will support and advise students on how to resolve grading /personality conflicts, schedule changes for these reasons are not possible.
