Attendance notes must be submitted within 3 school days upon a student's return.
Failure to submit notes within this timeline will result in an "unexcused" absence.
8+ unverified/unexcused absences will result in denial of credit (you will fail a class you would have, otherwise, passed if you are "denied credit").
Attendance notes can be turned in, physically, to the attendance office located in the main office, or online.
To submit notes online, parents must enter their email address (attendance notes from student email addresses will not be accepted).
The online form can be found by visiting centennialhighschool.org, click the "families" tab, and then the "attendance" tab.
Please be advised that Centennial High School cannot "excuse" tardies.
Tardiness must be recorded, accurately, as attendance is a legal record.
State law states that students should not miss more than 10 school days per year.
If you/your child must miss in excess of 15 days per school year for health-related concerns, please contact our health office for more information regarding homebound services.
