Before Participating in Nevada ACT Testing in February 25, 2025:
Juniors create a MyACT Student Profile
Use the no cost career exploration inventories and tools to introduce post-secondary options such as majors, colleges/universities, careers, degrees, and certifications.
Student scores typically increase the second time around. A few months prior to testing, students should take the free full-length practice test and analyze their results for learning gaps.
Aiming for the Nevada College and Career Diploma:
The Nevada college and career readiness diploma requires that students maintain a 3.25 GPA, complete 24 credits (18 core credits and 6 electives), and meet the additional College and Career Ready Diploma requirements, HERE.
The ACT National Career Readiness Certificate (NCRC) is one of the State Board of Education’s approved career-readiness assessments and students meet the NV Diploma requirement by earning a Silver or higher.
Access the free ACT NCRC practice test HERE.
