When should I use the Canvas Web App?
The Canvas Web App and the student app offer almost the same functionality. We recommend you use the Canvas Web App as a backup when the student app is not functioning properly.

Step 1
On the Homescreen, find and open Canvas web. If you do not have it, you can always go to Safari and navigate to https://newtrier.instructure.com/login/saml.
Keep in mind!
Canvas web and the Student app both give you access to Canvas, however the Student app and the website offer different functionality.
Step 2
On the login screen, type in your Student ID in the Username field and your New Trier Password. Select "Log In" to continue.
Step 3
If you see a 'Save This Password?' pop-up, select "Not Now".
