Canvas is how teachers provide you with resources such as PDFs, assignments, quizzes, and even grades. Many teachers will also communicate directly to you through Canvas in the form of announcements or messages. You may notice that there are two similar icons on your iPad, one titled "Student", and the other "Canvas Web".
The Student app, as you will see in the video below allows you to turn in Assignments , complete and submit Quizzes , or participate in Discussions . However, the Canvas app does not support Conferences , Outcomes , and changing your personal notification settings .
Teachers may ask you to access Canvas on the web, or the app depending on what they want you to do, and for that reason we recommend you keep both.
