Laswa is a boiled vegetable soup that originated in Iloilo. It's one of the many forms of "sinabawang gulay" in Filipino cuisine, similar to dinengdeng of Ilocos, and sabaw na utan in the Visayas region.
It's simple dish that's nutritious, delicious,econimical and versatile. you can include whatever fresh produce is plentiful in the area or in season.
