When out clearing balsam in the deer exclosure, a few observant 6th graders found an eastern cottontail rabbit caught in the fence! After a careful extraction by Mr. Schutte, Mrs. Tietge's 6th graders caught the frantic flight to freedom on video! A few tufts of fur and a nip out of the mitten thumb are the only memories that fortunate rabbit left us.
