Half-Day Program

Program Features
NSEEP offers both a full day (5.5 hours) and a half-day (2.5 hours) UPK program. There are 25 available full-day spots and 35 available half-day spots. The half-day UPK program is only in the afternoon session.
Utilizes the CKLA, Eureka Math², Heggerty Phonemic Awareness, and Second Step Curricula
Inclusive preschool setting supporting students with and without disabilities
Up to 16 students in each class, one NYS-certified Special Education Teacher, 2 full-time teaching assistants, and 1 part-time teaching assistant. Each classroom is also supported by a multidisciplinary team of speech therapists, occupational therapists, physical therapists, school psychologists, and a social worker.
A Registered Nurse (RN) and licensed practical nurse (LPN) is available during school hours
A snack is provided for all students, and lunch is provided to full-day students each day. Outside food is permitted
Two outdoor playgrounds and three indoor gross motor spaces are available to students
Bus transportation is not provided to general education UPK students. Families must transport to this site
If your child has qualified for a Special Class Integrated Setting (SCIS) on his/her IEP through the Committee on Preschool Special Education (CPSE), they do not need to enter the UPK lottery to attend NSEEP. The CPSE will place your child in the classroom that best meets their needs, and transportation may be available.
