Beginning Band

Beginning Band is the place to be! In September we get our instruments, learn how to put them together, learn how to make sound, figure out how to read notes and rhythms, and start to figure out what it takes to be a musician. Neary Band Beginners have grit and perseverance...nobody starts out sounding very good. But in just a few short months, we start to sound like we know what we are doing!

After a few weeks of group lessons, we start to rehearse together on Thursday mornings before school. We share an Informance in January, and a concert in June. The goal? Have fun and make music!
