Rules

Before you even get the Chromebooks out, it is a good idea to go over rules and expectations for Chromebook use in your classroom. Use a presentation like the one below to have a conversation with your students about what is expected of them when they are using the Chromebooks.

It is also a good idea to have students sign a contract of some kind. The sample one below can be modified to fit your classroom. Notice that the contract includes a link to a form for students to digitally sign the contract. The contract can be pushed out through Google Classroom.

The presentation and the contract should be done with students before they receive a Chromebook.
