Economics is the study of how individuals, businesses and governments attempt to satisfy their wants and needs in a world where resources are limited. Major areas of focus will include comparative economic systems, supply and demand, investment, economic indicators and government. Students are provided with opportunities to not only examine the subject, but find practical uses for employment of the course’s content in their daily lives through programs such as the Stock Market Game.
