ORCHESTRA

This ensemble performs major works of string orchestra literature. There is a strong emphasis on instrumental technique and ensemble playing. Some solo and small group opportunities are available as well as the chance to audition for Regional and All-State ensembles. This group performs several concerts per year. Students wishing to audition for the Chamber Orchestra and Pit Orchestra must participate in the Orchestra course or have permission of the director.
