INTRODUCTION TO EARLY CHILDHOOD EDUCATION

Ever wonder why young children question most things you say? This course concentrates on development and the practical aspects of working with young children. Students gain hands-on experience working in the NHS preschool and writing and teaching age-appropriate lesson plans to preschoolers. Students also learn about children’s development by making observations of the preschoolers in the classroom setting. This course provides a focus on the intellectual, physical, social and emotional development of preschoolers.
