INFANT AND TODDLER GROWTH AND DEVELOPMENT

Ever wonder why toddlers have temper tantrums? This course concentrates on the understanding and practical aspects of working with children from birth to three years old. Students will learn about the care and development of infants and toddlers by working in the Newington High School Preschool. Students will prepare to work in the preschool by creating age-appropriate and engaging lesson plans which they will then teach to the preschoolers. This course provides a focus on the intellectual, physical, social and emotional development of infants and toddlers.
