INTRODUCTION TO ENGINEERING DESIGN (IED)

Ever wondered how to design something new and create a prototype? This introductory engineering course will introduce students to the role of the engineer, the engineering design process and how to use an advanced computer aided design (CAD) program, as well as 3D printers. The course is project based and collaborative, so students will work in teams to solve

problems and develop prototypes of their solutions based on customer/client input. Students have the opportunity to earn college credit as a result of this class.
