Practice tracing the lines with a pencil, colored pencil, crayon, or marker.
Have your child write the letters of their first name (1 letter in each flower), then cut the flowers out and place the letters in the correct order to spell out their name. If your child is unable to write the letters of their name, then write it for them and see if they can put the letters in the correct order. This is such a fun activity!
Cut out the bee shapes and glue them on the matching flower. You may assist your child when cutting the shapes out and gluing them on if they are having a difficult time.
When cutting remember thumbs up and use that helper hand to rotate the paper. While cutting ask your child what each shape is to increase recognition of shapes.
This is an easy craft to do with items you may already have at home!
What you need:
1 paper plate
1 Popsicle stick or anything to make the stem
Green paper, even if its white paper you color green for the leaves
Paint, markers, crayons, stickers, glitter, etc
Scissors
Glue or tape
Now you have your supplies, lets get started!
First cut little slits around the paper plate to create your flower.
Next, Glue or tape the Popsicle stick to the back of the paper plate.
Then, Cut out two leaves for the stick and glue or tape the leaves on the back of the Popsicle stick.
Last, You can use a Q-tip or paint brush for painting or color with markers and crayons to make your flower bright and vibrant! Then you can add stickers or glitter to make it even more fun!
